LOUIS SEDMAK is one of the busiest producers in Canada with an impressive track record of successful ventures in record production, song writing, television & film music.

.2004 was a banner year on radio charts for LOUIS SEDMAK PRODUCTIONS.

 


From country artist Jake Mathews the album "TIME AFTER TIME" released summer 2004, showed consistent top 20 hits chart action and was dubbed # 1 Album of the Year by Country Music News’ Larry Delaney. The same radio response was received on each of the singles released from the debut 2002 album, also produced by Sedmak.

 


2004 also saw the fifth album release “Set List” the ‘best of DUANE STEELE’ package with an additional 3 top charting new recordings from one of Canada's top 10 Male country vocalists. 05 kicks off with the latest single currently on charts NOBODY CHEATED NOBODY LIED”. ”I’ll Be Alright”, the fourth album for multi award winning country artist Duane Steele also generated 6 top 30 hits up to 2003. Duane was awarded Independent Male Vocalist of the Year by the CCMA for 2001.

 

Fall 2004, the much anticipated sophomore album “The Road I Chose” by LISA HEWITT commanded huge radio attention with the first single “ONE OF THESE GOODBYES” ripping up the charts to Top 20 status.


Previous notable album releases, “There’s No Lookin’ Back” by The Poverty Plainsmen also a critically acclaimed Sedmak production, had the debut single “SAME THINGS” rocket to # 13 on BDS and following the success of this Sedmak production the act was awarded Independent Group of the Year 2001

Released in fall 2001 and seeing heavy chart action, Sedmak’s engineering ears played an extensive role on the album for multi award winner, composer/recording artist, Steve Fox . This Canadian/Nashville resident chose to record his album at Louis Sedmak Productions. Steve Fox chose the same studio to produce the well received album “Dreaming Out Loud” by new country artist Tracey James.
